Disability Services

Disability Services (DS) works closely with qualified students with disabilities to ensure they have equal access to an education and campus life via services, accommodations, and advocacy.While Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 maintain the legal requirements for accommodations, student success and support drive our practices.

Academic accommodations (e.g., testing accommodations, notetaking support, accessible materials, ASL interpreting, assistive technology, advocacy, etc.) may be provided to students with听documented disabilities including but not limited to the following:

  • ADHD
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Blind/low vision
  • Chronic Health Conditions (e.g., cancer, diabetes, migraines)
  • D/deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Learning Disabilities (e.g., dyscalculia,听dyslexia)
  • Mental Health Conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, PTSD)
  • Physical Disabilities听(e.g., amputee, paraplegia)
  • Temporary Injuries (e.g., broken limb, concussion, surgery recovery).

Disability Services is located on the second floor of Courtright Memorial Library, Room 228,听and is part of the Academic Support Center.听In order to receive accommodations, students must provide DS with appropriate documentation. Students who have difficulty obtaining documentation are encouraged to consult with DS. All services are free of charge for 海角乱伦专区students.
